How to change your billing plan of Google Firebase

Here is how you switch from the Spark plan to Blaze plan to use additional Google Firebase features.

Firebase offers a default free plan (Spark) that prevents you from having any costs with the platform. When you want to use all features, you need to switch to the Blaze plan.

Both plans include free tiers. But when the limits are reached, Firebase reacts differently.

🔹 On the Spark plan, your services won’t work anymore.

🔹 On the Blaze plan, you’ll be charged depending on the spent resources.

Switch billing plan

Follow these steps to switch your plan:

🔹 On your Firebase project dashboard, click on Upgrade in the lower-left corner

🔹 Click on Select Plan in the Blaze column
