I Have Finally Reached 1,000 Followers on Medium!
I started writing on Medium in January of 2022. Around 20 months later, I crossed the threshold of 1,000 followers on the platform. The person to make this finally happen (I had to wait over 24 hours to get my 1000th follower and yeah I clicked the refresh button way too often) is Delaria "Dee" Wilson. Thank you for being my number 1000!
Over time, I gained roughly 50 followers per month.
I don’t play following games. I don’t ask people to follow me on Medium. Every follower came without pressure. As they say:
It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.
During that 20 month period, I published 197 stories, collected 47 email subscribers, acquired 12 referred members, got around 364K views overall, and made $1,530.16 in terms of money on Medium.
