You can use Notion for free. There are two limitations that might be relevant: You cannot invite others to work in teams and you cannot upload files (images, videos, etc.) bigger than 5MB. I only pay for Notion AI but that's an individual upgrade you can purchase at any time. Many writers I know use Notion in the free version.
